This three book box set of some 1,400 recipes would be a great winner if only it had color photos of recipes; nutritional information, and prep times. Okay, perhaps the prep times are not necessary, and possibly photographs of the meals would have driven up the cost for each book. But, nutritional information for recipes of this caliber is almost a necessity nowadays. At least for my generation, suffering maladies such as we do…THE WRITING & EDITING: The writing is smooth and the recipes are well organized. And, certainly, there are scads of tempting soups, salads, and meals that makes this a no-brainer to purchase at the selling price, so don’t take my lackluster praise too seriously.Instead of an excerpt I am attaching four screen shots. I hope these help you decide whether or not to buy this good, but not great, cookbook.
