Very informative. Clear language for me, as this text distiller the somewhat dense legalize of officialdom. I recommend using this work, then checking to be sure of updates. The durable power of attorney has some updates. JohnIt is never too soon to pursue this information. I am 64 now and over the years saw my young friends and associates die without will or anything, causing problems with family members and loved ones. On example, a young man got a very good job. Then left wife (she was not nice person). Never took her off his company paperwork. So after three years, met wonderful woman. They made plans, etc. so he was killed. The wife got most everything. The child by new woman got some but the woman he was "going" to marry after finalizing divorce with first, was left out. The new woman was pregnant and left destitute.So take care of business! John

Good reminders of things to do.
In straightforward, easy-to-understand language, Jo Kline Cebuhar explains how to take control of the end of your life, and what will happen legally and medically if you don't. Simply telling a family member "don't keep me alive with machines" may not be enough. Many scenes of family bitterness could be avoided if everyone took the advice in this book. My husband just died of early onset Alzheimer's, and I wish we had read this book when we were doing our end of life planning. Thank you for a great reference book on a very difficult topic.
