I have read all of The arrangement books, they all are don't put me down books. At the end of each book, I was ready to continue their tale by moving on to the next book.Having to wait for life and HW's creative genius is taking much patience!
Just when you think you figured it out, Bam it all changes. I swore I was going to stop reading this series but it is to good to not. My feelings for Amber are..... Let's just say the trash needed to be taken out. I'm still confused, I'm at the edge of my seat, and I stayed up late to start and finish this bit. Soooooo gooood.
I enjoyed reading all of these book on vacation and can't wait to read 15 when it comes out. I hope it's soon. I've got to know what happens next!
Let me just start by saying that I am in love with this series. Holly is an amazing author who knows how to keep her readers on the edge of their seats and wanting more. I am very happy to see that with each book we are getting more of a glimpse into Sean's past and why is the way he is. I am starting to have great concerns whether he and Avery are meant to be. For the longest time it seems like they were drawn together. But now I am beginning to wonder if maybe there is no happy end in their future. Although I will be ecstatic if I am wrong. I want to see them end up together. But as the story line is progressing I feel as if Avery and Sean are growing farther apart and not closer together as I am sure all Holly's readers want to see. We are given a very exciting surprise in this book in relation to Miss Black. But if you read Arrangement 13 you kind of saw at least part of that coming. A proposition is given to Avery and I am excited to see what choice she makes. This series is a must read and I love the fact that it has been fan driven.
Is it possible to want to reach into a book and bash two stubborn peoples heads together? This is how I feel with Sean and Avery! With book 14 I feel Avery has lost almost every ounce of herself. She has her inner voice that keeps trying to help her, but she is so stubborn she only listens every once in a while. Then, you have Sean who won't or just can't let go of his past so his darkness is all consuming, but his love for Avery is so strong he doesn't know which way to turn.I also want to smack Marty for moving in on Avery when she is lost and confused. I feel sick about Amber and Naked boy, even if they were a pain in the butt. Maybe they had their own demons and so they acted them out the way they did. What is the big agenda that Black has? I know there is a lot more than what she is letting on and it is so detrimental to everyone.My opinion Avery, Sean, and Mel need to contact the FBI and get help to bring all the dirtbags down. This book has me so stressed and it's only a damn book!!! I can't wait for the rest of the books to come and and this story to finish, before I have heart failure!!!
This is one of my favorite serials ever. It’s sexy, sassy, funny and dark.This serial belongs to the dark and brooding Sean Ferro. He’s the first Ferro I was introduced to, and he holds a piece of my heart. As the series start out, Sean is very mysterious, and to be honest – 15 volumes in (when I’m writing this review), he still is a bit of an enigma. There is still a lot to be learned. He’s a dark SOB, this one. He’s got his fetishes, but holy wow is he delicious. And scary. Seriously, I love him – but if I had known him IRL I would have been scared s***less, and kept my distance.Then we have Avery. This girl’s got some spunk. I mean she has to, given that Sean is her love interest. She’s a struggling student when we first meet her, and when her best friend, Mel, realizes this, she reveals what her REAL job is. She’s a high dollar call girl. Ms. Black latches on to Avery immediately, and if Avery just takes one client, it could solve all her problems. She only has to say yes. Problem is she only wants one guy, Sean. Enter: a s***load of trouble.“I’m rewarded, uh, I mean punished, with a slap to my backside.†- AveryThis is an erotic romance, and you can expect some mighty steamy scenes. Some of the volumes more so than others, because there is a hell of a lot going on in this series. The Arrangement, and Sean basically, was the catalyst for all the other books from this same world. Sean has made an appearance is in every spin-off so far. So this is obviously a great place to start if you are curious about H.M. Ward’s books. Just remember to start at the beginning. You would not understand half of what’s going on if you jumped into it halfway through.It’s important to note that this is a fan driven series. Essentially that means that as long as the fans want more, there will be more. And I honestly can’t picture the day we won’t want more. So if that is not for you, I recommend you go pick up something else, because this story has been going on for a good while now, and I certainly hope it will go on for a long time to come – as long as Holly wants it to.Another important note is that these are split up in volumes, and each one end on a cliffhanger (Holly is the queen of cliffhangers). It’s nerve-wracking every time. And it is one of the tings that keep it just as exciting as it was in the beginning. As well as the fact that they’re always fast paced, and it never gets boring. Each volume starts off exactly where the last one left off. I always like to re-read the latest volume before the next one releases because you really get thrown right back into the action without any recaps. It really is kind of built like a TV-show, which is so awesome, because something like that is currently in the works! *fangirls* Just Imagine seeing THE Sean Ferro on screen…
